There is very big competition for Symphonic Wind Band every year in everywhere in Japan.
Its preliminary rounds are taken place in Summer and final round is taken place in Autumn.

So I'm busy to teach to the bands for this competition every Summer.

This competition has several divisions(from primary school to the amateur adult) and a lot of wind band musicians are crazy to practise hard.

Today is last day for preliminary round in Ehime where I'm living now.
I go there to listen few bands which I went to give lessons.

It's not easy to survive Japanese Summer for me...
Because it's too humid and not confortable at all even to breathe.

Usually I prefer cold to hot.
Under the cold weather, we can drink beer or run to warm myself, but try to being cold under hot weather, I don't have good idea to cool myself.

Do anyone have good idea to be cool in Summer???
If someone know something nice, let me know that please!!!


Rainy season is over now in Japan, so I think it would not be too humid.

I like to eat hot(spicy) food, so I survive this Summer with hot food!!!

Long time no write...

I toured my European/American journey in April and June, and now I'm in Japan finally with my family.

It was very nice to came to Europe and saw my friends in many counties and got a lot of energy by them.

Especially staying in NY was great experience for me!
I lost my audition in NY, but I got a lot of things new for me.

My direction of playing is stronger than before I went to NY.

I'm looking forward to taking my next audition!!!

I had to change my schedule today and I decided to go back to Japan once in May.

It wasn't expected that I have to go back to Japan in May, so it surprised me a lot and gave me a lot of work...

I finished to work on this matter today, so I feel better now!!


I will be in Japan from May 2nd to 30th. After then I will back to Europe again in the end of May.

Huh, it's a big distance what I moved/will move in these few months.

I feel very nice here in France.
When I'm in Japan, I had problem to find my practice place.

I can't practice in my flat in Japan and there are not good place to practice daily in near my flat, so I had to keep practicing with practice mute for all Tenor/Alto Trombones and the Euphonium.

But now(during my staying in my sister's house), I can practice in my room WITHOUT MUTE!!!

That's great!!

I can practice much more details on my performance(more for intonation and sound qualities).
I'm enjoying my practice everyday!!


Today, I play with my nephew Kenzo.



He is very cute!!!
He got new car lately.
I'm jealous to him. He has nicer car than me!!!!!
